The initial diagnostic fee is $40. However, if you choose to proceed with the repair with me, this $40 fee is fully deducted from your final bill. This allows me to dedicate the necessary time and use precision tools (such as circuit and schematic analysis) to identify the exact source of the problem, without charging you an exorbitant price if the device is repaired. Additionally, no work exceeding the initial authorization (the requested diagnosis or the maximum budget you approved upon drop-off) will be performed without your prior verbal or written consent.

For the vast majority of services, it is not possible to wait on-site. As I work from a private workshop closed to the public, repairs are processed in the order they are received. Furthermore, circuit diagnostics and precision work require maximum concentration and a certain amount of time to diagnose and repair. Rest assured that as soon as your device is ready (often within 48 hours for standard cases), I will contact you immediately for pickup.

I always prioritize honesty. If the cost of parts and labor exceeds the residual value of your device, I will mention it during the diagnostic to save you from unnecessary expenses, and I will be able to advise you on your options.
